Of all the different memorials I felt this to be the most impressive and the most moving. You do feel that the statues are a real platoon moving into action

The statues of the soldiers have so much emotion. This memorial was crowded on a Sunday afternoon but it is worth it. It is near the other monuments and is an easy walk.

Again this is another Memorial in Washington. Very easy to find and quite moving. I think we get so used to seeing names on walls etc but this actually shows people, it could have been a relative or a friend or indeed a neighbour. It is too easy to forget that wars have taken place and thousands have died on... More

You can get to this along the Mall when you visit all the other attractions. It is very well done and worth stopping by to visit.

This memorial, hidden a bit away from the main walkways, provides a truly moving experience that will elicit a deep emotional response, especially for any who lived through those times. First, the visitor approaches a cluster of life-sized statues, a small platoon (depleted?) of soldiers on patrol slogging forlornly through low brush, each with unique facial features. This alone provides... More

We visited on an evening bike tour. The location is covered by trees, with very poor low lighting, which made it difficult to see well. I would imagine during the daytime it would be best appreciated, since it's sort of hidden in the trees to begin with.

I was looking the other way as I turned the corner. Then, I lost my ability to speak...really...and tried to not embarrass my son by crying. Walking through green vegetation...even in DC winter, was a group of KW soldiers. Completely fitted for battle in the freezing, wet climate of Korea. Look in their faces. They become your brother, cousin, classmate..or,... More

The memorial was incredible. The whole area was both beautiful and sad. Worthy considering what the soldiers went through during such a terrible time.

Never seen anything like this. The facial expressions are so real, and the location too. Hope the veterans will feel this does them justice.

This is an amazing sight and a great tribute to those who fought in the Korean war. Be sure to stand with the statues between you and the reflective wall as the illusion of many more soldiers is superb
