Want RX10 but that FZ1000 is making the decision difficult!

As the title says I am in the market for a RX10 mk1.

However the price of the FZ1000 is the same here in UK.  Having held both in store I prefer the size and build quality of the RX10 but damn, that FZ1000 is a lot of Camera in comparison.  Tough decision but heart is sending me to RX10 m1, head says take another look at the FZ1000!

Any of you guys had the same problem?  What way did you go and why?

Must be a very big headache for those that went with or are looking at RX10 m2 as FZ1000 is half the price (approx) here in UK.

I have a number of Cameras already including RX100 m2 so I am very familiar with the set up and 1" Sony sensor which I like.  I am thinking the RX10 with that superb lens will give me even better IQ?  However the FZ1000 looks to be on par and in many ways exceed the RX10 m1 re focal range etc.  Not too bothered about 4k video but as it costs nothing extra why not!

Be pleased to hear how others decided which way to go and if they remain happy with their decision.
