Tracy Morgan made an emotional comeback to "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 17. The one-time cast member hosted the third episode of this late night staple's 41st season. This marked his first appearance on "SNL" since nearly losing his life in a six-vehicle highway crash in June, 2014.  -Break- Morgan was part of the cast for seven years, beginning in 1996. While his own self-titled show lasted for less than a season on NBC in 2004, he went on to enjoy huge success as part of Tina Fey's "30 Rock." That sly satire on the making of a TV variety show starring Morgan's character won three consecutive Emmys for Best Comedy Series (2007 - 2009). Morgan lost his only Emmy bid -- Best Comedy Supporting Actor -- to Jon Cryer ("Two and a Half Men") in 2009. Earlier that year, he had returned to "SNL" to host the show and reprise some of his most famous characters. »
