Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Road Chip  is crashing into theaters a little early this Christmas.

Alvin, Simon and Theodore are very pleased to now be opening on December 18th, 2015.

When asked if it concerned them their Road Chip adventure was opening on the same weekend as a certain other giant mega movie, Alvin simply responded, “Do or do not. There is no try.” No one was quite sure what he meant.

In addition to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Universal Pictures’ Sisters will also debut on December 18.

Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami…and dump them.  They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.

Tales Of Halloween – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Available On iTunes October 23

Aleph Records will release the Tales Of HalloweenOriginal Motion Picture Soundtrack exclusively on iTunes on October 23, 2015.

The film is a horror anthology featuring original music by Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring), Michael Sean Colin (Killjoy Goes To Hell), Christopher Drake (Batman: The Dark Knight Returns video games), Christian Henson (The Devil’S Double), Bobby Johnston (Wristcutters: A Love Story), Jimmy Psycho (The Jimmy Psycho Experiment), Sean Spillane (Jug Face), Edwin Wendler (Unnatural), and Austin Wintory (Dark Summer).

The film features main titles by legendary composer Lalo Schifrin (The Amityville Horror), whose son Ryan Schifrin directed one of the segments.

Jason Blum Talks Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension In New Featurette

When Paranormal Activity entered the psyche of audiences in 2009, it made people scared of being at home – especially during the middle of the night.

Live-Action Stop-Motion Animated Rabbids Film Coming To The Big Screen

Matthew Senreich, Tom Sheppard and Zeb Wells will team up to write the screenplay for the hybrid live-action / stop-motion animated Rabbids feature film for Ubisoft Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Godzilla Vs. Kong Coming To Theaters in 2020; Kong: Skull Island Confirmed For 2017, Godzilla 2 For 2018

Following Legendary’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2014 success with the global reinvention of the Godzilla franchise, the companies have come together to create an epic, new shared cinematic franchise.

All-powerful monsters become towering heroes for a new generation, revealing a mythology that brings together Godzilla and Legendary’s King Kong in an ecosystem of other giant super-species, both classic and new.

Monarch, the human organization that uncovered Godzilla in the 2014 film, will expand their mission across multiple releases.

The announcement that the reinvention of monsters continues was made today by Legendary CEO, Thomas Tull, and Kevin Tsujihara, Chairman and CEO, Warner Bros. The initial trio of films are 2017’s Kong: Skull Island; Godzilla 2 in 2018; and then Godzilla Vs. Kong, arriving in theaters in 2020.

While Legendary maintains its new home at Universal Pictures, the Godzilla films remain in partnership with Warner Bros., who will now also distribute Kong as a part of this franchise. »

Stephan James, Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Irons And William Hurt Star In Race Trailer

Here’s a first look at director Stephen HopkinsRace. Based on the incredible true story of Jesse Owens, the legendary athletic superstar whose quest to become the greatest track and field athlete in history thrusts him onto the world stage of the 1936 Olympics, where he faces off against Adolf Hitler’s vision of Aryan supremacy.

The cast includes Stephan James, Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Irons, Carice van Houten, Shanice Banton and William Hurt.

Focus Features will release the movie on February 19, 2016.

Tom Hiddleston And Elizabeth Olsen Featured In New I Saw The Light Photos

Sony Pictures Classics has released brand new photos featuring some of Lahly Poore-Ericson’s amazing costumes from I Saw The Light.

Her costume design credits include The Homesman, 50 to 1, Doc West, Spoken Word, First Snow and Save Me.

Written and directed by Marc Abraham, I Saw The Light is based on Colin Escott’s award-winning biography of Hank Williams and stars Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen, Bradley Whitford, David Krumholtz and Cherry Jones.

Of star Tom Hiddleston, who actually sings every note in the film, Abraham says, “He’s an amazing actor and truly I cannot imagine anyone, anywhere more dedicated.”

Chilean Miners Reunite For Fifth Anniversary Screening Of The 33

The Chilean miners – whose miraculous rescue from a collapsed mine five years ago today captivated more than a billion people around the world – reunited in Rome on Tuesday to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the day they emerged from the mine.

In the Eternal City, the miners were applauded at a special anniversary screening of Alcon Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ inspiring drama The 33, where they were joined by director Patricia Riggen and producer Mike Medavoy.

The film not only reveals the remarkable story of their survival against the odds but of the families, whose unwavering faith and support was instrumental in the rescue, and of the international team of rescuers, who would not give up until they brought the miners home.

Paul Dano, Elizabeth Banks And Brian Wilson Celebrate The Music And DVD Release Of Love & Mercy

Love & Mercy is one of the best films of 2015. The wonderful film, available on Blu-ray and DVD, features fantastic performances and an impressive score from composer Atticus Ross.

To celebrate the music and DVD release of the film, Brian Wilson performed on Monday night at Vibrato Jazz Grill in Beverly Hills for an intimate crowd where he and his wife, Melinda Wilson, were joined by actors Paul Dano and Elizabeth Banks, who portrayed them in director Bill Pohlad’s musical biopic.

They were joined by about 150 guests consisting of members of the Academy, industry insiders, friends, family members and press.

Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt (The Walk) and producer Bonnie Arnold were there for the celebration.

Wilson performed an eleven-song set, including his original song from Love & Mercy as well as Beach Boys favorites “California Girls” and “Good Vibrations”, and was joined on stage by Paul Dano with the actor singing “You Still Believe in Me. »
