I think I'm done with SAR

And maybe Sony, too, I hope not. It just hit me, there's been nothing on SAR that was actually relevant to me in over a year. It's all about FF cameras and lenses, and the prices just keep going up, up, up. Sony is, at this point, a camera maker for the 1%  The RX1RII, announced yesterday, is the last straw for me - 42mp and a single fixed lens - Zeiss, of course - for $3300. Just a ridiculous piece of high-tech jewelry for wealthy tourists, wannabe artists and clueless gearheads.  Hundreds of comments from people fawning over it and I could care less.

I'm tired of reading about new $3000 cameras that I wouldn't want at $2000, and the latest $1500 lenses from Zeiss.  On top of that, the site is a cesspool of ads that takes forever to load, and that Disqus system for comments just totally blows.

I like my a6000 and my 3 Sony APS-C lenses. But at this point it looks like Sony doesn't want my future business. They've decided to forget about practical cameras and aim at the luxury goods market.
