Wormworld Saga wins Publishing Innovation Award

At the opening ceremonies for this year’s Digital Book World, presented by CBG parent company F+W Media, Robot Media’s The Wormworld Saga received a Publishing Innovation Award in the App, Comics/Graphic Novels category on Jan. 23.

Digital Book World is a conference focusing on emedia and the challenges and opportunities that all publishers face as they continue to expand into this area. The Publishing Innovation Awards, sponsored by Constellation, honor innovative ebooks, enhanced ebooks, and book apps in 12 categories. The other winners were:

App Juvenile: Cinderella App, Nosy Crow

App Non-Fiction: The Magic of Reality for iPad, Random House

App Reference/Academic: British Library 19th Century Historical Collection, Bibliolabs

Ebook Non-Fiction: AAA Las Vegas eTourBook Guide, AAA

Transmedia Project: Decoded by Jay-Z, Random House, Inc., Random House Publishing Group
