Revalidation e-Portfolio
A revalidation portfolio has been developed by a cohort of Medical Royal Colleges for Fellows and Members. The portfolio is free of charge to RCEM Fellows and Members.
Registration
To start your self-registration go to:
For first time users follow the link on the log-in page to the registration screen. You must provide the following information:
- Your GMC number
- Your College membership number
- Your date of birth
- The correct name of your designated body
You will be sent a welcome e-mail providing information and next steps.
At present, there is no single UK-wide electronic system to support doctors in managing their supporting information for appraisal and revalidation. In Scotland, doctors can access the Scottish Online Appraisal Resource (SOAR) to support them throughout the process. If your employer, trust or board is already providing, or will soon be providing you with a revalidation system to manage your supporting information, then you will not need to use this free Revalidation Portfolio.
If your trust or board is currently using, or planning to use, the Revalidation Management System (RMS) provided by Equiniti 360 Clinical Ltd, then you will automatically benefit from the enhanced portfolio functionality developed by the Colleges and do not need to create a separate account through the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
The Revalidation Portfolio system is built on SharePoint 2010 which supports the following:
- Internet Explorer (IE) 10, 9, 8, 7 (IE6 is not supported by MS SharePoint 2010)
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
