Well, folks, here is now a "movie," We Are Makers, which is well-worth the watch. Some thoughts:
Making is fundamental to who we are.
Dales Dougherty, founder of the Maker Movement, talks about how we often don't
make the connection between making, whether it be robotics or weaving.
Making initiates us into communities of people, whether in-person or on-line. It's a "social currency, a network." It's a "return of the hand!" Here's the video set-up:
