There was a lot of splashing , a lot of barking and just a whiff of wet dog fur at the Oliver Pool this afternoon, when pet owners got the chance to take a dip with their canines. 

The event, which is a major fundraiser for the Edmonton Humane Society, brought in hundreds of dogs and their owners. Check out some of the shots the CBC's Emily Fitzpatrick grabbed.
