Avian influenza, bovine spongiform encephalopathy, foot and mouth disease, rabies and rinderpest are known as animal diseases which topped the international zoosanitary agenda over the last few years. Some of these diseases are still present in several regions of the world hence the necessity of maintaining transparent information and providing scientific expertise.
These five dedicated websites aim to inform national Veterinary Services, veterinarians, farmers, media and the general public on the evolution of the situation of these diseases worldwide.
