Canon announces the development of a 120 MP DSLR

I think Canon will phase out some of their older lenses anyway (17-40, etc). So by the time the camera arrives, pretty much most of the lenses will be updated. Also, notice even the non-L primes are getting IS. I would say IS may be standard in the future (or at least an IS version of each lens).

If the Camera is released within the next 3 years, it will probably be an ultra expensive unit priced along the lines of the Pentax MF system, assuming there's not much competition with such high MP.
