DON'T USE UNDER DATA PLAN - only WiFi This app doesn't advise you that to perform the test, it will need to download and upload data in order to provide a result. To test WiFi speed is great but unless you're happy spending a lot of your data plan for the test, don't even try it!!

Definitely helpful Use it test internet speeds for various reasons. Helps me keep ISP honest. AT&T sold area to Frontier. Ever since I noticed throttling going on & an overall degrade of quality using this app. Server choice indefinitely a must tidbit to know. Always test a few servers.....

Yes, but... Sure would be NICE (hint, hint) for you to retain your upload/download graph in the history of each of your tests. Some APs & Extenders peter off on large data transfers and your app is the ONLY one I've found that actually shows that - but you then throw it away when you save it to history.

Recommend by Tmobile Was, able to see great improvement in the network, so when in doubt I check it out. And then I send the results to John @ T-Mobile on a great job!!!

Great, but needs a country switch Please add a switch to change country and select from other countries speed test servers. If I'm in Australia and want to prove to my carrier that connectivity to the USA is slow, this would be very useful.

The best For when you only need to know how fast your download and upload is per connection, it works perfect! Not much more information, but you don't need it, to know if it's slow or fast

It works, it's giving you a useful guide, especially since radio based data telegraphy is highly variable in terms of actual bandwidth vs the technical best for a grade of connection. But to address the comment about 100mb data sizes for tests, it's more a better size of test data sample than the usual 10mb or less. Remember that some ISP performance figures are synthetically high because they base it on small payloads like 10mb or less test samples.
Very good People during there mobile data read the 2nd paragraph under the about more it says internet speed... You will never have a constant flow of your best internet... Read up dummy's lol... As for 2 test running at the same time to compare... No device will be the same some have better signal then others. Lol educate your self's... Read up
Cool and reliable I'm a bit of an internet freak so I have to test the internet speed wherever I am, This app gives the most reliable internet speedtest I know. And the reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is because it lags a bit when testing I have a phone with a 2.7ghz quadcore processor and 3gigs of ram so it shouldn't lag I don't know if it my phone but maybe work on a more lag free experience but it not too bad that it bothers me ☺
INACCURATED SPEEDTEST Its only Show MAX SPEED, its FICTION SPEED. Its Not DOWNLOAD/ REAL Speed. To DOWNLOAD or SEE Something we NEED REAL/ AVERAGE SPEED for Long Period time. Not MAX SPEED in Short (Flash)Time. You can Compare this APPS to XTREMELAB Speedtest Apps. You can See the Big Difference between AVERAGE and MAX SPEED. Although you can Know How UNSTABLE your NETWORK. At UNSTABLE NETWORK will give Big DIFFERENCE between AVERAGE and MAX Speed. At the STABLE NETWORK, THE MAX SPEED and AVERAGE/ DOWNLOAD SPEED are SAME, But very Rarely. The XTREMELAB Speedtest Still Give THE BEST DOWNLOAD SpeedTest Until Now. This time you Cant Find thIs Apps in PLAYSTORE, but you still Can Find it in APTOIDE. And you can SHARE/ give your Friend via BLUETOOTH or BBM ♡
Great At least we know exactly how much were being ripped by our ISP's!! Have Xfinity/Comcast Internet and speeds have slowly increased over the past 9 year's I have BLAST and received a letter and email stating my speeds have increased from 30mbps to 100 at no additional charge only problem my speeds have never hit 30 it is close now usually 25 or so down but up is not so great at a average 5 and I'm sure I will be charged more no later than January... Dreaming of Google Fiber!!!
Good App but needs proper documentation when i speed test my internet connection from my phone i believe there is a limitation that my phones Wi-fi beyond certain speed. if you can include this in the documentation then user will get to know that the speed differs when he cheks from the app and he checks from laptop browser. Please let me know if my assumption is wrong or it differs from phone to phone
App works great. I am just in awe on how Verizon 4G is 50% faster than my ISP Time Warner. If I lived in KC I would qualify for Google fiber but since I live 20 minutes away I will never get the opportunity. Having just one option for ISP sucks royally. I average 12Mbps while Verizon is giving me 25Mbps down 16Mbps up. Upload on Time Warner capped to 1.98-2.01Mbps.
Lack of information 4 ANDROID DEVICE. I really don't know what to look for and I am greatly concerned about purchases within this app,is it .99cents for every time you test internet? I installed and removed app because of that particular lack of information. I just explore to see for first time and I am cautious where billing is concerned someone recommend this app claimed it's free and they use it but the in app purchase I don't like lack of detailed information that is my reason for low ratings sorry. I would check back to see if updated 411.
Great app for checking speeds Speed test has always been my go to for checking speeds on any device I own. For the geniuses that don't understand how the app is using data, the app has to send data packets across the network to a server then have the data packets sent back in order to measure the speed in which the packets are being transmitted. Please don't leave a bad review because you are stupid and to lazy to do any research on how things work.
Definitely the best so far on Android but needs improvement We need the ability to change service to another country like the PC version does this is very useful and one of the main reasons why are your speed test app on my home computer. If this feature was added to the Android app it would definitely get 5 Stars for me and I'm sure many others too. Aside from that the best speed test app on Android by far
Good, Could be better The app is good, about the same as the website. But it could use a server selection method as others have spoke of, as well as honoring the dollar I paid a year ago for ad removal. I hate the "meet Russian girls tonight!" ads. You want support for ad removal just say so, some are just offensive.
