"I'm not sure where to begin with the story of how HDI has vastly improved my life!
At my first HDI conference three years ago, I was able to gather a huge amount of valuable information, which I then brought back to my job and used to help us make a decision on selecting a service management vendor.
Because I did such a thorough job on this project, I was asked by upper management to take on the challenging role of project management, and to implement, design and configure EasyVista as our new service management tool. I would never have received this challenging opportunity if it weren't for the valuable and timely information I received at the HDI Annual Conference & Expo.
I also met several people at HDI's conference that work at a company that is local to Acushnet. Since networking at that conference, we have become friends-but more importantly, we network with each other on a very regular basis. We have shared ideas on our existing incident tool, had group discussions with members from both companies to share ideas on BYOD and service management tool selection, and engaged each other for advice and support. These connections also would never have happened without the initial connection offered from HDI.
One of the highlights that came out of being an HDI member was starting up the local chapter in Rhode Island, and then being selected as president. I will never be able to adequately thank HDI for helping us to get our team together! I believe my life has been dramatically changed and enriched by all of these HDI experiences and connections."
