Why the sudden increase in m4/3 angst?

There seems to be an ever growing number of posts expressing a negative view of m4/3, be it about image quality, product quality, cost, performance etc. The latest posts are becoming very reminiscent of the bad old days of 4/3, where other brand owners were doing their best to give it a bad name.

It's a system that's been around for some time now and has gained a well deserved reputation in most circles. I'm curious why there is a need to repeatedly go over the same things week after week for no apparent reason. Is it insecurity or what?

Is it because mirrorless and m4/3 acceptance is growing all the time: http://www.imaging-resource.com/news/2015/09/17/woah-sonys-killing-it-in-cameras-and-elsewhere-plus-cool-headset-trainer-t ?

Is it because mirrorless and m4/3 are developing significant support from third parties and becoming more and more versatile all the time: http://www.43rumors.com/new-metabones-firmware-release-adds-phase-detect-autofocus-pdaf-support-for-the-olympus-om-d-e-m1/ ?

Is it because the majority of m4/3 owners inexplicably like and enjoy using their gear, and have a deep sense of satisfaction with their systems?
