Fears for my X100S !!

I feel very sad and sorry for myself right now as it does seem as though my X100S may well have conked out on me.  Haven't had it in use for some time now but just occasionally take it out of the case.. as I've done this last few days when I had a thought I MAY decide to sell it.. took a few casual pics and all very much OK.

Just today I've decided to give it a further little trial and took it out in the garden to grab a few pics as it's a pleasant enough September day here.  Got a couple then decided I needed to switch to Macro for one I had in mind..did that via the rear segment and was JUST about to recompose the shot and the camera just went completely OFF.   First thought..Battery.. as it had been standing.. although I had noticed with surprise that it did still show full charge on the screen icon...however put it on charge and Green light came on...seemed OK and charging.. but it only showed green for 10 minutes or so.. just thought it may not need much charge.. back in-camea..but STILL the camera shows NOTHING.. completely non-working.

Charging right now a second Battery but thought I should check voltage on the first to be sure that was OK. Did so via a VERY expensive and reliable Meter (FLUKE) and it shows 4.16v.. THAT is certainly OK yet it does not operate the camera..still fully defunct..

Oh Dear !!.. it doesn't look good.. just wondered if anybody else had the X100S and had experienced anything like this ??    It's out of Warranty now and I have to wonder if any sort of Fuji charge for Repair is fully justified.. bound to be a bit steep I'm sure and resale value is not THAT high now as I did a little research on that quite recently when the thought of a sale crossed my mind.
