I must have missed where it was announced the new FF is targeted at professionals. Hopefully they are not aiming to compete with Nikon's D3X or D4S, or Canon's 1DX or 5DS. If so, few Pentaxians ...

The first shot looks more natural to me. As others have said - the colours seem off on the second shot and the contrast seems to be over-contrasty. :-)

Sorry - I could not see the reason for the original post, let alone find it very very very interesting. :-|

Hi Alex: I can not remember any time in the past when Pentax has received sensors from Sony when first introduced, but I may be mistaken. It seems they have always used new sensors in their own ...

You have just shown that the awards are not related to advertising budgets and are not , in effect, bought and paid for by the Big Three manufacturers. Ricoh, I am willing to bet, likely spent the ...

You apparently are unaware that awards are absolutely meaningless, unless Pentax is a winner. In all other cases (where Pentax does not win), it is because the other manufacturers have bribed the ...

Mike: All are super-sharp and the colours are great. My favourite, though, is 56a. Any time there are similar shots, the one(s) without any evidence of feeders, manmade structures, etc. elevate ...

Hi Man: More great shots. It looks like Ms. Arden is looking right into your lens! I wonder if her voice is holding up...

I think you meant to say - one of the ex -ambassadors of Pentax. ;-)

They may tell you there are no cougars there, but that is their official stance only. I live in southeastern Ontario, and there have been numerous sightings, photos, and track castings over the ...

Good compositions, and sharp, but I do not know why you used such a high ISO. Maybe the lens requires f9 or f10 for sharp results - I do not know. You probably could have reduced the shutter speed ...

Please post where you read the Sigma will be released in Pentax mount. This could be interesting. Thanks

The sales comparison between Pentax and Nikon is valid, but Nikon somehow continues to turn a profit (although down badly). Pentax, on the other hand has returned to a loss position after edging ...

Will do, Dan. Every time a non-Pentax SLR is mentioned in this forum. Every time a Pentax non-DSLR is too, I guess. Everyone will be so much better off then. I will not do this retroactively, ...

I think it is sad that the other thread was locked. It seems that some posters perceive a threat to Pentax from Panny, and would prefer not to allow any discussion of potential competitors to our ...

Unfortunately, the Bobolink may go the way of the Passenger Pigeon. Their numbers have been dropping drastically: The species is threatened by incidental mortality from agricultural operations, ...

That strip mining site is just a tiny example of what is taking place in thousands of square miles in many areas of northern Canada. The land is being irreversibly destroyed so that the least ...

Sure, Donald: We are dealing in the last couple of hundred years, though, mainly since the industrial revolution. This is when the problems started. Have sea levels fallen during that time - I do ...

Wow! A hot day in Alaska in the winter! This proves climate change is a hoax, once and for all. Silly scientists with their facts and figures. If they only had the sense to just take the ...

As you should. Disappear indefinitely would seem appropriate. :-) Do not tell your dog - he would be disappointed...
