Vice Chief Bobby Cameron

Vice Chief Bobby Cameron is a proud member of the Witchekan Lake First Nation part of the Agency Chiefs Tribal Council. In 1994 he graduated from North Battleford JPII Collegiate, in 1995 he began his first year at the University of Regina. During this time Vice Chief Cameron volunteered and worked at several organizations that involved Elders and youth.

In June 2001, Vice Chief Cameron convocated from the U of R and so began his teaching career as a Special Education teacher.

Vice Chief Cameron has served in Indian Government for a period of 2 years. During this time he served as Band Councillor and most recently, elected as Second Vice Chief of the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations. Vice Chief Cameron is a hunter, fisher and trapper, the skills and values that were instilled in him from his father, the late Bobby Cameron Sr.

Vice Chief Cameron stresses to our communities to listen, learn and respect the Elders while they are still with us on this land. We must never forget who we are and where we come from. We must stand up for what we believe in. Our Inherent and Treaty Rights are the backbone to our nationhood and communities.

Vice Chief Cameron will look forward to hearing from and working for the betterment of the 74 First Nations in Saskatchewan. Under the direct guidance of our Elders, Chief and Councils, grassroots people, together we will attain the benefits and agreements that are beneficial to our communities.
