Amazon Global Selling has the solutions to simplify the international selling process and help you grow your business internationally. We can help you manage your international business, manage your international sales, and manage logistics.

Manage your business

When expanding internationally, you will have to learn new processes such as operating across marketplaces and getting paid in foreign currencies. Amazon Global Selling is here to simplify the management of your business.

Amazon European Marketplaces account+

In Europe, we have simplified managing your business across all of Amazon’s five marketplaces. The Amazon European Marketplaces account enables you to create and manage product offers in any and all of our marketplaces in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. You control what you sell where, and you manage your business from a single seller account interface.

When you sign up to sell in one Amazon European marketplace, for example on Amazon.co.uk, your seller account is automatically enabled to sell in all other Amazon European marketplaces—Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.it and Amazon.es. Reach millions of international customers and let Amazon help you grow your international online business. All your orders will be managed in a single place, making trading in Italy feel just like trading in the United Kingdom.

Single bank account+

When selling in a new international marketplace, you will be paid in local currency. Figuring out how to disburse payments back to your domestic account may seem like a complex process. Amazon Global Selling has developed payment functionality to help simplify the international payments process.

Amazon Currency Converter™ for Sellers (ACCS) is an optional service that enables existing sellers who have a bank account in a country supported by Amazon to be paid directly into their local bank account. The currencies supported by ACCS vary by Amazon marketplace.

To learn more about the currencies supported in each marketplace visit the ACCS Frequently Asked Questions.

Seller Central Language Switcher+

The good news is that you don’t have to master French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Japanese in order to be able to sell across Europe and in Japan. With Seller Central Language Switcher, you can manage your operations in all of these Amazon marketplaces in English, enabling you to quickly get up to speed on your international business by providing you a familiar interface you can quickly learn to use.

Selling Coach recommendations+

Figuring out what to sell and how much of it to keep in inventory can be a challenging task in any new marketplace.

The Amazon Selling Coach offers personalized recommendations to help you maximize your effectiveness as a global seller. As we identify selling opportunities for you, we will notify you in two ways:

  • The Amazon Selling Coach dashboard on the home page to your Seller Central account.
  • E-mail notifications.

Amazon Selling Coach notifies you about the following types of opportunities (the actual notifications list is more detailed):

  • Cross-listing Opportunities (Europe only): Based on your home marketplace inventory, you will receive recommendations on products you can sell in other European marketplaces.
  • Inventory Opportunities: Based on your recent inventory and sales data, consider restocking to avoid running out of stock and risking pre-fulfillment cancellations. (Our inventory projections are based on your sales over the past seven days.)
  • Product Opportunities: Increase your selection on Amazon by adding listings for these products, which customers have recently shown interest in and have limited availability on Amazon. Since you have listed similar products in the past, we want to let you know of this customer interest and help you identify valuable growth opportunities for your business.
  • Fulfillment Opportunities: We want to make you aware of high customer interest in products you offer that currently are not offered through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). If you offer these products through FBA, they may become eligible for free shipping, Amazon Prime, or other FBA benefits that customers love.
  • Low Price Opportunities: Many sellers have told us that they would like to be informed when there are comparable offers with lower prices. The Match Low Price feature considers the lowest price currently available for active listings in Amazon marketplaces.

Manage Sales

FBA Exports+

FBA Export is available through Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and can help you grow your international business with little more than the click of a button. Simply opt into FBA Export and Amazon automatically enables eligible products for export. When out-of-country customers place orders, Amazon picks, packs, and ships the product from your FBA inventory. FBA Export eliminates many of the traditional barriers to shipping products internationally.

How does FBA Export work?

  1. In Seller Central, go to Inventory and select Manage FBA Inventory; Click Sign up for FBA Export on the right side of the page.
  2. Your eligible products are now enabled for export. International customers visiting your Amazon home marketplace can search, browse, and find your products. At checkout, the customer pays for the order. The payment includes international shipping, import fee deposit (Duty), and product cost.
  3. Amazon picks, packs, and ships the order to your international customer, completes export paperwork, and pays duties and fees from the amount collected from the customer at checkout.
  4. If the customer has any questions regarding the order, they can contact Amazon Customer Service. If the customer has returns, they can go through the normal returns process for Amazon and Amazon Customer Service will provide return instructions.

Build International Listings+

Build International Listings is a simple way to list and manage your offers across all five Amazon European marketplaces. When you create a connection between your home marketplace and all the marketplaces where you want to create offers (target marketplaces), Build International Listings will:

  1. Instantly create listings in the target marketplaces based on products you are selling in your source (home) marketplace.
  2. Automatically reflect price changes in the target marketplaces whenever you make a price change in the source marketplace.
  3. Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and adjust prices in target marketplaces.

How do I use Build International Listings?
If you are an Amazon European Marketplaces account seller, you are able to use Build International Listings with no additional registration or startup costs. You simply enable Build International Listings, and it will automatically enable each eligible product you have listed in your source marketplace to be listed in each of the target marketplaces you select. You can remove a connection to a target marketplace at any time.

When those products sell, you will pay a fee for each order shipped outside your home marketplace through the European Fulfillment Network, in addition to the normal Fulfillment by Amazon fees.

Manage Logistics

Fulfillment by Amazon+

Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) helps you increase your online sales by giving you access to Amazon’s world-class fulfillment resources; fast, free delivery options for your products; and trusted and acclaimed customer service in local languages. Simply send your products to an Amazon fulfillment center, and we’ll store your inventory; pick, pack and ship your orders; and provide customer service. But that’s not all—FBA also helps your products become more competitive. FBA is fully integrated with your Amazon selling account and provides a flexible, pay-per-use model without minimum inventory requirements.

Advantages for International Sellers
FBA is available in all of Amazon’s marketplaces worldwide. As an international seller, you can use FBA to level the playing field, allowing you to provide the same fulfillment benefits to your customers as do other local competitors. When using FBA you can:

  • Decrease the shipment time to your customers making your offers more competitive, thereby growing your international sales.
  • Provide for returns and local language customer support through Amazon, so you can delight your customers and build on your customer ratings.

European international fulfillment+

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) helps you grow your online business by using Amazon’s world-class fulfillment resources and expertise, acclaimed customer service, and trusted fast, free shipping options. In addition, FBA can help you reach new customers across Europe with our two optional international fulfillment programs: The European Fulfillment Network (EFN) and Multi-Country Inventory (MCI). Under both of these programs, orders are eligible for Prime and in many cases free shipping.

European Fulfillment Network (EFN)
With EFN, you send your inventory to our fulfillment centers in your source country in Europe, and we fulfill your orders to customers shopping on any of our five Amazon European websites. EFN is convenient and hassle-free, since you only need to manage a single inventory pool. For example, as a seller on Amazon.co.uk, you can keep your products in the United Kingdom fulfillment centers but list them in both on Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. When customers purchase them on Amazon.de, we will pick, pack, and ship the products to the customers for an additional fee.

Multi-Country Inventory (MCI)
With MCI, you send your most popular products directly to the countries where you are listing them, and we store those products close to local customers. Products fulfilled through MCI reach international customers faster, making your offers more competitive and helping you grow your sales. For example, as a seller on Amazon.co.uk, you can choose to list and send a popular product to both our United Kingdom and our German fulfillment centers. A customer sees these products as eligible for Prime on Amazon.de, and when they purchase, we fulfill from the inventory pool in Germany.

When should I use EFN vs MCI?
If you are an FBA Seller and have never sold internationally before, the easiest way to start is to list your FBA products in one of our European marketplaces and your orders from those marketplaces will automatically get fulfilled through EFN. Keep in mind that orders fulfilled through EFN will take slightly longer to reach your customers than orders fulfilled locally in that marketplace. To help make your best-selling international products even more competitive, and help increase your sales, we recommend fulfilling these products locally with MCI.

You can use both EFN and MCI to fulfill your international orders. When international customers order products not available locally, their orders will be fulfilled through EFN.

If you fulfill on your own and are now also selling internationally, you can also take advantage of MCI. You can continue to fulfill your domestic orders yourself and gain a competitive edge in the international marketplaces where you sell by fulfilling locally with MCI. You can either choose to fulfill your entire listings or just your best-selling products locally—there are no minimum requirements.
