If you are going to be in the North Carolina area in June and are interested in participating in the annual radio-controlled vehicles race, hurry and sign up. The North Carolina Offroad 1/10th scale State Championship is held on the last weekend of June, with the deadline for signing up being at 9:00am EST on June 28th, 2014. There is a limit of 200 participants and it fills up fast. The race is going to be held at The Warehouse RC Complex, located in Haw River, North Carolina.
This annual event and championship is a fun way to show your skills and socialize with other racers. There are a variety of classes for the weekend’s schedule, beginning with open and controlled practice, going through to qualifiers, and then the main event. There is plenty of lodging nearby that is affordable, just in case you’re traveling to the area from out of town.
