After a day of rising tension, authorities lost their grip on the Hungarian border camp in Roszke. Using force and , at one point, tear gas, they tried to hold back a tide of angry migrants. Hundreds managed to break free in a desperate effort to keep moving west. But to no avail. They were later detained by authorities and returned. In Budapest, scores have also set off to march their way north to Austria in search of a better life. (bite) These scenes of desperation come a day after scores of refugees crammed their way into a train in Budapest... thinking it would take them to Germany and beyond. ..only for it to be stopped and the refugees removed. They are now in a detention center. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has vowed to take control of the migrant crisis and set an example for Europe. But as the tension mounts, control seems an elusive possibility in the near future.
