Beating addiction with the world's hardest triathlon

Sunday, October 12, 2014 - 02:34

The Arch to Arc is described as the hardest triathlon in the world. It consists of a grueling 87-mile run from Marble Arch in London to the coast, a swim across the Channel to France, and a 180-mile bike ride to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Paul Parrish, a 49-year-old charity worker and recovering alcoholic, recently became the oldest man finish the race and the seventh fastest. Reuters' photographer Neil Hall documented Parrish's journey.
