Dozens of Turks gather in Taksim Square, angry at Europe's policies for migrants. They're holding up sketches of a photo that's been seen around the world -- a three-year-old Syrian boy who drowned and washed up on the Turkish coast. His mother and brother are among 11 others who died after two boats capsized on the way to Greece. (SOUNDBITE) (Turkish) TURKISH PROTESTER FATIH KOCAISIK, SAYING: "This is a humanitarian tragedy. Everybody agrees on that. If it were animals subject to this, a solution would be found immediately but when it comes to people we just ignore the problem. Especially if we are talking about Muslims nobody does anything. Christians should question themselves. They should ask what Muslims would do if it were their children who died?" Hundreds of thousands of people fleeing war and poverty have been trying to get to the European Union. Thousands have died at sea. Germany says it's prepared to accept a bigger share of refugees and is calling for other European countries to do their part.
