A U.S. judge has found 49-year-old Kim Davis guilty of contempt for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples. For the past two months, the Kentucky county clerk has been involved in a legal fight over a Supreme Court ruling upholding same-sex marriage. Since the court's decision, Davis has refused to issue licenses to any couples, gay or straight. She says it's due to her beliefs as an Apostolic Christian and says that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. Five of her six deputies have agreed to issue the licenses, but attorneys for Davis say she will deny them that authority. It's raised questions about whether the licenses they issue will be valid.
