Actor Chris Evans and co-star Alice Eve walked the red carpet ahead of screening of ''Before We Go'', his directorial debut. Rough cut (no reporter narration).

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). STORY: Actor Chris Evans 'gets his feet wet' in his directorial debut with "Before We Go" a dramatic romance film co-starring British actress Alice Eve. Evans and Eve walked a short red carpet before a screening of the film in Los Angeles on Wednesday (September 2). The film is about two strangers that meet in Grand Central station at a crossroads in each of the respective characters' lives. Evans plays a good samaritan that helps Eve's character find a stolen purse and work through a broken heart while simultaneously facing his own romantic fears as well.. Alice Eve enjoyed working side by side with Evans, calling the actor turned director an 'amplified version' of the usual working relationship that happens between actors on set. The film, which has drawn comparisons to award winning director Richard Linklater's romantic drama film trilogy Before Sunrise, Before Sunset and Before Midnight, also has a very realistic drama romance versus rom-com feel to its story line. 'Before We Go' opens in theaters on September 4 (Friday).
