The inaugural VRDC will take place on the Monday and Tuesday of GDC 2016 (March 14-15). Passes to attend will also allow entrance to the GDC Expo Floor, March 16-18, where many of VR's biggest names will be showcasing their latest technology. VRDC will also be open to all GDC 2016 Summits or All Access Pass holders.
This major new event goes beyond video games in exploring interactive experiences of all kinds in the VR and AR spaces, and programming for the conference will have applicability both for the burgeoning masses of VR game developers, and those working in VR for non-game but equally immersive purposes - from CG movies to filmed experiences and way beyond.
The call for submissions to the VRDC will open Tuesday, September 8th and close on Friday, October 2nd at 11:59 PT. For submission guidelines, click here.

Game VR/AR Track
The Game VR/AR track will explore Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in game development, pertaining to topics across multiple disciplines including Design, Production, Programming, and Visual Art. It will showcase exciting, current work happening in VR and AR game development and offer value disciplines including Design, Production, Programming, and Visual Art. able, actionable and/or inspiring takeaways for the VRDC audience.
Entertainment VR/AR Track
Virtual and Augmented Reality is about so much more than just games. The Entertainment VR/AR Track will discuss VR and AR applications, design, implementation and development across multiple industries including Entertainment, Travel, Retail, Fitness, Product Design, Journalism, Sports Entertainment.
