Album Review

For a band that only had one official studio album (1988's First of a Million Kisses), Scotland's Fairground Attraction certainly don't lack in the "greatest hits" department. Like 1997's Very Best of Fairground Attraction Featuring Eddi Reader and 2002's Best of Fairground Attraction, 2004's Very Best of Fairground Attraction collects nearly all of the neo-skiffle pop quartet's songs, which were culled from the aforementioned Kisses and 1990's Reader-less Ay Fond Kiss, including "Find My Love," "Clare," "Jock O'Hazeldean," "A Smile in a Whisper," and their number one single, "Perfect."

The group went to #1 in the U.K. with their single "Perfect" in May 1988 and released its debut album, First of a Million Kisses....
