Nakedness in Nature

Here's an interesting NATURE challenge for you! Show us examples of nakedness in the environment: bare trees in winter, dead tree trunks, seeds without their protective pods, flower heads after the petals have died, bare rocks, bare earth, bare bones in the desert, baby birds or animals before they have fledged or grown hair to cover themselves.... Absolutely NO NAKED HUMANS or parts thereof, no domestic pets, no man-made structures and nothing which humans have uncovered or made bare. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size of entry: 1,600px on its longer side.
