Paediatric Emergency Medicine |
Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) is a recognised sub-specialty of EM, which can be attained through either a paediatric or an EM training route. EM trainees wishing to subspecialise in PEM will usually have to complete an additional year prior to obtaining CCT [Certificate of Completion of Training].
There is a very detailed section on PEM training on the main RCEM website, http://secure.rcem.ac.uk/Training-Exams/Paediatric%20Emergency%20Medicine/default.asp.
