The Buzz: Paul Rudd is the secret weapon to my heart. Knowing that I'm a big fan of Rudd may not be the most trustworthy endorsement of the movie, but comic book fans should not miss the comedic actor's first shot at a superhero role. We're so happy Rudd's going to be bringing his signature laid-back, sardonic sense of humor to the Marvel universe. Take that, Iron Man! - Chako

The Buzz: We've seen Amy Schumer's very funny, essentially autobiographical movie; its humor comes from so many unexpected places, even though the Amy presented on screen is less of a trainwreck and more of an average thirtysomething with a way-above-average sense of humor going through a series of relatable scenarios in her work, romantic, and familial lives. Bill Hader is mostly restrained and the wide world of sports featuring LeBron James feels pressure-cooked into the screenplay, but we can say this is one Judd Apatow movie that doesn't run too long.

Certificate R   -   Drama | Mystery

Metascore: 60/100 (9 reviews)

The Buzz: Advanced reviews indicate that Irrational Man isn't likely to become your new favorite Woody Allen movie, which is a bummer since it could be his second misfire in a row with Emma Stone. And this time around Parker Posey gets a rare chance to illuminate the big screen. For roughly the last decade Woody Allen's movies have been hit or miss, but in his rarefied world, the hits win Oscars or become runway box-office success stories, while the misses get polite, detailed reviews and earn more than most indie releases could ever dream about.

Certificate PG-13   -   Documentary

Metascore: 91/100 (9 reviews)

The Buzz: We live in a time where Sherlock Holmes sends text messages to Watson, so a throwback look at the character is most welcome, especially in the form of Ian McKellen.

Certificate R   -   Drama | Thriller

'Best of Enemies' is a documentary about the legendary series of nationally televised debates in 1968 between two great public intellectuals, the liberal Gore Vidal and the conservative William F. Buckley Jr. Intended as commentary on the issues of their day, these vitriolic and explosive encounters came to define the modern era of public discourse in the media, marking the big bang moment of our contemporary media landscape when spectacle trumped content and argument replaced substance. Best of Enemies delves into the entangled biographies of these two great thinkers and luxuriates in the language and the theater of their debates, begging the question, 'What has television done to the way we discuss politics in our democracy today?'
