Dick Van Patten, a Hollywood staple for six decades, had died. The actor was 86.

On Tuesday, a rep for the actor confirmed to Access Hollywood that Van Patten had passed away.
Details surrounding his death have yet to be released.

Van Patten, best known for his roles on TV's "Eight Is Enough" and "The Love Boat," also appeared on the big screen "Robin Hood: Men In Tights" and "Spaceballs."
