Resources for Librarians

Much of CRC Press' continuing status as a world-renowned publisher is due in large part to the input and allegiance of libraries. Your input has been especially helpful with our development of our electronic products, most of which we've designed with libraries in mind.

Library Sales Reps and Vendors

CRC Press employs highly experienced U.S. and international sales teams whose mission is to help libraries make the most of their yearly funding. Please contact your local representative to place orders, make inquiries, or offer suggestions.

CRC Press also collaborates with a number of key vendors, including Baker & Taylor, Blackwell, Brodart, Ingram, Login Brothers, and Rittenhouse to ensure our listings are readily available to librarians.

Catalog Downloads
For your convenience, we are currently posting a wide variety of catalogs, which can be viewed, downloaded, or easily shared with a friend.

eProducts
From both an economic and environmental perspective, CRC Press is enthusiastic about the shift toward electronic publishing. We now offer most of our current references and much of our backlist as eBooks. A number of our products are also available on interactive CD-ROMs or as web products. CRCnetBASE, with more than three dozen extensive PDF and database collections was designed specifically for libraries and includes such features as remote multi-user access, versatile usage reports, and MARC records.

Major Reference Works
We built our reputation on quality references such as the classic CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, which has been updated nearly every year for the past century. We now produce and continue to expand on major handbooks across all of science and engineering. We also publish the award winning Taylor & Francis collection of encyclopedias. These encyclopedias present the contributions of thousands of pioneering researchers and leading academicians. These critically acclaimed works are now being offered in print as well as online with interactive features.

Introductory Offers/Specials
Many of our most valuable references are accompanied by generous introductory discounts that are available before the book goes to press and extended 90 days past the publication date. CRC Press also offers periodic Web Specials, which allow librarians and other buyers to save as much as 50% on select titles from our backlist.

Mailing List Sign Up
Our electronic and postal mailing lists not only keep you alerted to new titles, but are also instrumental in distributing promotional offers that enable you to realize additional savings.
