  8. Nuclear Disaster at Fukushima Daiichi

    'Fukushima robot stranded after stalling inside reactor | Robot stopped moving hours into first inspection of containment vessel, and similar inspection using separate device is postponed'

    "Decommissioning work at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant has suffered a setback after a robot sent in to a damaged reactor to locate melted fuel stalled hours into its mission and had to be abandoned. The plant’s operator, Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco), said the robot stopped moving on Friday during its first inspection of the containment vessel inside reactor No 1, one of the three reactors that suffered meltdown after the plant was struck by an earthquake and tsunami in March 2011." - The Guardian | Fukushima, Justin McCurry

  9. Award Spotlight: Stefano Guzzini is winner of ISA Theory Book Scholar Award!

    Routledge would like to congratulate Stefano Guzzini on winning the International Studies Association Theory Section Book Award with his book Power, Realism, and Constructivism! Stefano Guzzini is Senior Researcher at the Danish Institute for International Studies and Professor in the Department of Government at Uppsala University, Sweden.
