   Co-Editors Lori Diane Hill and Felice J. Levine introduce the inaugural volume of the World Education Research Yearbook series, and describe the Yearbook's aims. Lori Diane Hill is a Visiting Scientist at AERA, the American Educational Research Association, and a Faculty Associate at the University of Michigan. Felice J. Levine is the President-Elect of WERA and Executive Director of AERA.
