This version now supports Handoff in iOS 8 from the movie and celebrity pages on your device to Safari on your Mac. We've also fixed problems with homepage items, the video player scrub bar, TV premiere dates, sharing user lists, and several other small issues.

INDISPENSPlABLE
If I were told I had to get rid of all my apps but one, I would keep IMDb without a moment's hesitation. I grew up in a household in which movies were part of the fabric of our family life. We not only saw them together, but discussed them at meals - everything from Kurosawa to Oliver Stone and just about every filmmaker of merit in between. My father was such a fanatic that he wouldn't let us get up and leave our movie theater seats without reading the credits all the way to the end. Although he's gone I thank him daily.
If it's about movies or tv, this is the place to go. Not only is the content compendious, but it's accurate, literate, and fun. That's a hard trick to pull off, but IMDb did! Also, the new color scheme is easier on the eyes and looks great. What more can I say!
LOVE! But...
I've loved having this app! I use it all the time! I haven't had any complaints about it so far, but the most recent update kinda made me sad! This may sound odd to some people, but I've enjoyed getting on every once-in-a-while to see what celebrity's birthday it is on that particular day. I probably sound like a creeper right now, but it's just something I like to do. I don't really understand why the makers of this app found it necessary to get rid of this certain feature? It just bugs me! *drops mic*
Decent app but
Nice app overall. It doesn't offer anything that the website doesn't (in fact, it offers less) but the interface is clean and slick.
However, the ads are getting progressively more intrusive and annoying. How many times per session do I have to dismiss the same ad? It's not like I'm going to change my mind the third time I see it in the span of two minutes and suddenly decide I want to buy something. Now the ads are also getting larger and even more intrusive.
