Brad Pitt‘s “War Machine” will stream on Netflix, and be seen in select theaters next year. The company announced the acquisition of the satirical comedy directed by David Michôd (“Animal Kingdom”) on Monday. Michôd is also writing the movie based on Michael Hastings‘ bestselling book “The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan,” while Pitt and his Plan B partners Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner will produce, along with Ian Bryce (“World War Z”).
