Just over a month after dropping out of directing the second planned “Star Wars” spinoff, Josh Trank is trying to put the rumors to rest by explaining his decision. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the director said that dealing with the backlash of directing the “Fantastic Four” reboot put him off of taking on another major franchise. “I want to do something original after this because I’ve been living under public scrutiny, as you’ve seen, for the last four years of my life,” he said. “And it’s not healthy for me right now in my life. »
