Goode’s exit follows the departure of Archie Panjabi, who made her final appearance as Kalinda in the May 10 finale. However, while it’s unlikely Panjabi will resurface in the near future, I’m told there’s a chance Goode could make a guest appearance or two. »

Are you ready to pledge your loyalty to Scream Queens yet? If not, this new sneak peek at Ryan Murphy’s horror-comedy anthology series makes a convincing argument for you to change your mind, offering some never-before-seen footage and definitely delivering a good amount of both clever jokes and eerie images. So what’s exactly new about this Scream Queens trailer? It gives us a closer look at some characters, including Emma Roberts’ Chanel and Skyler Samuels’ Grace (who appears to the series’ protagonist), puts more focus on the killer (and the fact that really any one of these characters on the show could be the one murdering people), and also shows us more scenes featuring recurring stars Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas (and Jonas’ character seems to be in a relationship of some sorts with whoever Abigal Breslin is playing, at least that’s the indication from one of the scenes). Exclusive: I met Swoosie Kurtz for the first time in the brief lull between her first Tony nomination and her first win. Almost immediately I asked her to marry me. Didn’t matter that I was married at the time. Why Bravo’s Secrets and Wives Could Become Your New TV Guilty Pleasure This Summer

6 hours ago | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

If you’re a Bravo fan, you probably watch The Real Housewives (whether they be from Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, or somewhere else). However, if those series’ fake friendships and constant fights have gotten a little old for you, Bravo is offering a different option that you can enjoy this summer in the form of its new series, Secrets and Wives, which focuses on a group of six women who have all mostly been friends since they were in high school. That’s right: these women are real friends—it’s not just for the cameras. But even though you have a friendship with someone, that doesn’t mean you don’t disagree or talk behind each other’s backs sometimes, and Secrets and Wives still has plenty of drama. From the two-minute first look (which you can watch at the bottom of the article), it’s clear that »

Marty Pasetta, best known for directing the Academy Awards telecast annually from 1972 to 1988, died Thursday night. He was 82.

Pasetta was struck by a car he had just exited in La Quinta, Calif., in Riverside County, the Desert Sun reported. He died at the scene, police said.

The driver, identified as Keith Stewart, 75, of La Quinta, stopped his vehicle to drop off Pasetta and another passenger, according to the sheriff’s department. Stewart then went to exit his vehicle, but accidentally left the car’s transmission engaged, causing him to crash into his passengers.

Pasetta also helmed “Elvis: Aloha From Hawaii,” which aired on Jan. 14, 1973, in more than 40 countries. The concert special, featuring Elvis Presley at the Honolulu International Center, remains one of the most watched TV programs in history.
