Journalist, author and Entertainment Weekly editor-at-large Mark Harris revealed Friday that his next book will be a biography for Penguin Press on award-winning director Mike Nichols.

Nichols, who died at age 83 last year, won an Oscar for directing 1967’s The Graduate. It was a victory featured heavily in Harris’ first book, Pictures at a Revolution, which focused on the films of 1967 and the 1968 Oscars ceremony. (In addition to his Oscar, Nichols was a member of the EGOT club, with four Emmys, one Grammy and eight Tony Awards.)

While Harris never officially worked with him, the two share a common connection: Tony Kushner, who is married to Harris, wrote the original Angels in America play and adapted it into an HBO mini series in 2003. Nichols was the director.

Harris thanked Nichols’ family for the opportunity to write the biopgraphy.

A publish date has yet to be announced.
