Please note that:

• Permissions cannot be granted verbally. 
• Taylor & Francis may not be the copyright holder of the extract or work you wish to use, even if the work was originally published by us. This is especially true with edited anthologies, as well as all illustrations, diagrams, and graphics. Please check the copyrights or acknowledgment pages before making your request.
• Electronic permissions (excluding e-books) can only be granted for one year or semester depending on the request. The following precautions must be taken to order for electronic permission to be granted:
  • The material must be protected by security software that protects the work from being copied, downloaded or printed.
  • Please note that permission will not be granted if you wish to reproduce more than 20 percent of the original T&F material. For best results, please submit your request as early as possible. 

When placing your request by fax or mail, please provide the following information:

• title and author of the work from which you wish to reprint
• ISBN
• the imprint (Routledge, Taylor & Francis, CRC Press, Garland, Marcel Dekker, etc.)
• the exact page number for the material you wish to reprint. Please provide illustration, figure or chart number, if applicable, as well
• title and publisher of your book, proposed date of publication, print run and price
• requested rights (translation, e-book, etc.)
• territories of distribution for which you require permission (US, North America, world, etc.)

To enable us to deal with your request promptly please supply us with as much of this information as possible.

How can I request permission to photocopy, republish or translate material from a journal?

We are partnered with the Copyright Clearance Center to meet your licensing needs. You can now obtain permission to reuse our journal content quickly and easily directly from our website.
On any article page you can see a Reprints and permissions tab. This will give you the option to order reprints or request permissions for this article through the Copyright Clearance Center's RightsLink® service.

Once opened, RightsLink enables you to obtain instant price quotes, place orders, and track all of your licensing activity in real-time.

At Taylor & Francis, we are committed to ensuring that all of our texts are made available to as wide an audience as possible.

If a student has a visual impairment or print disability, we are able to provide a large quantity of our titles in accessible, electronic format.

If you wish to request a specific text, please complete and sign our VIP license agreement, and return it to AcademicVIPRequests@informa.com

Please note that print disability requests are not restricted solely to universities – if you are an individual with a visual impairment, please forward your request to the same address, with a completed individual license agreement.

We offer texts primarily in PDF format, which functions with most screen reading software. Alternatively, we can supply texts in Word, or XML format, although the latter is less frequently available.

Please note, we do require that a hard copy of the requested title has been purchased (by either the university or individual) before we are able to provide the text. It is also notable that texts published before the year 2000 are less likely to be immediately available in electronic format.

Should a digital version of a title be unavailable, a print copy of the text may be available for scanning – however, this service can take up to four weeks. Alternatively, we may grant permission for you to scan your own copy of the book, provided its usage complies with the terms and conditions highlighted in both license agreements.
