The FZ is enormous by comparison. The sophisticated OS should go some way to negate the rather small maximum apertures. Reducing to 12mp is what everybody has been advising on this site for years....

You may well be right but action photography doesn't require high 40mpx resolution so the frame rate will hardly be important.

I agree as far as the EVF is concerned but to be fair to DPR although it produces very good IQ with regard to its sensor size ,it cannot compete with the either the Panasonic LX100 or Sony RX 100 ...

LX100 and the GM5 with the standard zoom are really very similar in most respects other than the slower lens and the higher pixel count of the latter. Difficult choice especially if not bothered...
