Why bash the camera, it has a reasonable price at launch. It has a price of a Sony RX100 with good specs and looks. This might be larger than the compact but this is insanely fast.

I almost forgot that the RX100 II doesn't have an EVF.
This still makes sense. For example, a person fine with small sensor compact cameras but needs an EVF.

The output of the J4 seems quite right for me, pertaining to the sharpness and color noise.
Aren't the other sensors cooking their RAW files, removing a bit of color noise in all sensitivities?

The award is justified. Olympus didn't go all out in this model and is probably reserving the hardware upgrades for the next E-M1.
