Just traded in my beloved D7100.......... for a D800E

After two full years and 70,000 shutter clicks of fabulous service doing almost exclusively wildlife and nature photography I have traded in my D7100 today and bought a virtually brand new Nikon D800E from Henrys Camera, a very reputable dealer here in Canada. It comes with only 226 shutter clicks on it and a 90-day warranty which I can extend to 3 years if I wish.

As those of you who know me have seen from my recent posts I am taking a major break from wildlife photography and immersing myself into landscape photography in a big way. Both of these photography genres get me spending lots of time outdoors, both involve seeing and capturing the natural beauty that exists around us, and both present the photographer with enough artistic and technical challenges to keep things fresh and interesting.

Although I won't be posting on this forum anymore after a few days from now, I will of course continue to make my weekly submissions to the Photo of the Week Thread.

Will likely get the D7200 or "D400" on my rebound back to wildlife, whenever that might be.
