Good step up from a boring old $20 watch! 8 February 2015

I recommend any of the Fossil Deckers. I've owned a CH2691 in the past, but I sadly broke it. I finally grabbed this one as a replacement. I can't couch for the Amazon sellers as I got it direct from the fossil website on sale, but if you want to upgrade from a walmart watch, this is a good one to check out.

Highly recommended! Only downsides: It's a bit heavy, and it's a bit thick. It will take some getting used to, don't wear it the first day if you're going to be moving your hands a lot around in some tight knit areas like a food prep station at work, but it's awesome when oyu finally do get used to it. The chronograph is also fun to show off to friends at school :) I only really see it as a novelty feature as I don't really need a chronograph watch, but I love the styling of the watch and I love a complicated watch face.

Oh, and yes, I did take that photo. I'm a little proud of it :) It's the thumbnail for the video I linked to earlier.

Great watch...it fits my hand really well but can be uncomfortable on the first few wears..the band is thicker that your usual watch band and it looks like it will last very long. It is suitable for any occasion but I originally bought it as a daily watch..no problem there either...I'd recommend it to anyone, it's worth it

I have been looking around for one more watch and reviewed many of them on Amazon. I compared this against some of the Casio, Seiko, Wenger and Nautica. This particular model with the brown leather strap attracted me. I ordered it on Dec.23rd and received it on Dec.26th even though the original delivery date was Dec.27th. It looks great in the box and on my wrist. The mechanism is simple, nothing complicated, and the brown leather strap is thick and feels great. The watch really looks good and I liked it a lot. I would have given this a 5 rating but there was no user manual which I am not sure was missed during shipment or intentionally not available.
