Q: I saw an ABC news report that said law enforcement officers in Los Angeles and across the nation were clamping down on people illegally using disabled parking placards with fines of hundreds or thousands of dollars. What is Honolulu doing to enforce this law?

This winter has not been kind to those living in temperate climates. From the Midwestern United States to Central Europe, snow and bitter cold have thrown a monkey wrench into the cogs of expectations.

This might come as a surprise to you. It certainly did to me. According to the NCAA, I’m a University of Hawaii basketball booster. You might be a booster, too, without realizing it ... even if you never bought season tickets or never made a donation.
