Challenge has finished
Yellow is considered to be a warm and cheerful colour, to brighten our lives, particularly for those in the northern hemisphere where the weather outside may be cold, wet, grey or unappealing. Show us some examples of yellow which you find in nature, perhaps a flower, autumn leaves, a mushroom, sand or rocks, insects, birds or animals. Macro and close-ups welcome. Please no humans, domestic pets or birds deprived of their freedom. Your entry can be yellow, lemon/yellow, warm shades of apricot/yellow, but please don't go too far into bright orange, red or brown. Man-made structures should be minimal. Size of entry: 1,600px on its longer side.
