The George Mason University Wind Symphony ranks among the finest collegiate wind bands in the Commonwealth.  Under the direction of conductor-composer Mark Camphouse, this select, 50-member ensemble is comprised of the most outstanding woodwind, brass, and percussion players in the School of Music and University, and performs the best literature available for wind band, including student and faculty compositions as well as more traditional literature.  

Former Wind Symphony members have gone on to enjoy highly successful teaching and performance careers throughout the United States.
