Jazz 4 Justice© is a truly unique event. Attorney's, judges, students and fellow members of the Northern
Virgina community gather in a friendly environment where jazz admirers can congregate and celebrate their
love of music.  The event also serves as one of Fairfax Law Foundation's major sources of funding
and best ways to conduct outeach about their work.  Proceeds from the evening help the foundation continue
its mission of service to the Northern Virginia community, including providing for student scholarships
in the George Mason School of Music.

"Jazz 4 Justice©" Voice of America News Article

When George Mason University, just outside of Washington D.C., put on a jazz concert
10 years ago, student musicians played to an almost empty theater.
But now the annual concert is a great success for the university and helps to raise money
for people in the community who need legal services and cannot afford them.
Our correspondent reports on how a local attorney turned things around.
