Supervisory Health Scientist

This position is located in the Office of Public Health Scientific Services (OPHSS), Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology and Laboratory Services (CSELS), Division of Health Informatics and Surveillance (DHIS), Program Services Branch (PSB), Atlanta, GA. As a Supervisory Health Scientist you will evaluate national health surveillance programs and services to ensure they are performing optimally and providing timely, relevant and quality data; oversee coordination of training activities related to analytic databases and data collection and information systems; develop and oversee a strategy for partnership engagement including cooperative agreements and contracts with partner organizations and state and local health departments; provide overall leadership, direction and supervision of subordinate staff to achieve program mission and goals; provide clear and accurate written communication about program priorities and activities to internal and external partners; and provide clear and accurate oral communication about program priorities and activities to internal and external partners.
