Spider-Man's Sinister Six Movie Is Moving Forward, Here's The Evidence

9 hours ago | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

When last we saw the amazing Spider-Man on screen, he was swinging a hubcap at a charging, mechanical Rhino (Paul Giamatti) in the waning moments of Marc Webb.s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The wall-crawler's future seemed clear. He'd next be called into action to fight and defeat The Sinister Six, a villainous squad born out of OsCorp.s laboratory. Plans, though, were in flux for some time but now seem to be snapping back into place, suggesting an upcoming Sinister Six shoot. Some of this might have to be taken with a grain of salt, for reasons I'll happily explain. But a Twitter user named @ThatBlueHood posted messages that stated that The Sinister Six would be shooting in Vancouver. No time frame was given, only the knowledge that a "dude who worked on Planet of the Apes requested S6 stuff for research" and "said it was happening. »

Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler: The Story Behind Their Toxic Relationship

13 minutes ago | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

When they first met, it seemed like an oddball pairing - albeit one that worked. Travis Barker was the heavily tattooed and pierced drummer with rock band Blink-182. Shanna Moakler was the stunning former Miss USA. The couple exchanged vows in a gothic wedding at a luxury resort in Santa Barbara, California, on Oct. 30, 2004, one year after Moakler gave birth to their son, Landon. Their daughter, Alabama, arrived on Christmas Eve 2005. In 2005 they also invited the world into their relationship with their popular MTV reality show, Meet the Barkers. On camera, the couple fought, made up, made out (often!), but eventually separated in 2006. Barker, »

Jake Gyllenhaal Passes on ‘Suicide Squad’

30 minutes ago | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Warner Bros.’ “Suicide Squad” still looks to be one member short.

Following Tom Hardy’s departure from the role of Rick Flag, sources now tell Variety that Jake Gyllenhaal has passed on an offer to play the leader of the superhero team.

WB had no comment.

The film currently stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Jai Courtney and Cara Delevingne, with David Ayer directing. The pic doesn’t go into production until April, so there is still plenty of time to find another person to fill the role.

The film is set to bow Aug. 5, 2016.

Gyllenhaal has a handful of films debuting in 2015, including “Southpaw,” “Everest” and “Demolition.” He is repped by Wme.

Ruth Wilson Explains Relationship With Jake Gyllenhaal, Wonders Why It's Always Her ''Orgasm Face'' on Display in Sex Scenes

Ruth Wilson just won a Golden Globe for her spot-on portrayal of a grieving, unfaithful spouse with a secret in The Affair. A role that also involves a fair amount of nudity and graphic-for-cable-tv sex. But the British beauty, who previously was best known for playing a stone-cold psycho with a soft spot for Idris Elba in Luther and is now starring on Broadway in Constellations, doesn't sound like one to do something just because the script calls for it. "I argue this stuff all the time; that these scenes need to be real and they need to have narrative as much as any other scene," Wilson says in the latest issue of Net-a-Porter's The Edit.
