Group Marketing Manager - Automotive - Liverpool

Salary: £28,000-£30,000 dependent on experience + Company Car
Hours: Mon - Fri, Full Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced, results-driven & award winning automotive group, based in the North West and Wales. As the Group Marketing Manager you will be required to develop, implement and deliver the company's marketing plan.

The Role:

- Create and deliver in-house multi-channel campaigns; Direct Mail, Email, Events, SMS, PPC, radio, press
- Plan and deliver marketing campaigns set by multiple manufacturers.
- Digital: Creating interesting and optimised content to drive website traffic, enquires and leads.
- The candidate will have previous experience using CRM systems, understand SEO principles, and produce content for social media and group website.
- Utilising Google products including AdWords to create and execute quality PPC campaigns; optimising key words and bid management. You must be comfortable analysing Google Analytics to report and improve campaign and website performance.
- Budget management, to account for all marketing expenditure.
- PR: Production of press releases to promote the activity and perception of the group on both local and national level.
- Competitor analysis: study the promotions and activities of competitors in local areas and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Weekly performance reports to the Directors and Senior Management relating to marketing activity.
- Database Management: confident using Excel to edit data lists as required for marketing campaigns.
- Working closely with internal teams, third party providers and agency partners.

The person:

- The candidate will have a passion for marketing, with a recognised marketing qualification (Degree, CIM Diploma or similar) and 3 years or more experience in a similar role. You will be working with and reporting to the Group Directors.
- This is very much a 'hands on' role as you will be working in a small team.
- You will need to be a commercially focused, passionate and enthusiastic about your work and have the drive and hunger to deliver fantastic marketing activity.
- You will be highly organised, a great communicator and able to multi-task multiple campaigns.
- Automotive experience preferable, but not essential.

Flexibility in terms of travel is a must for this position.
